For the metal garden tools, how should we maintain it to extend the service life?
1. Keep clean
After the daily work of the garden hand, we should organize the used hand tools, remove dirt and debris,then dry, placed in ventilated place, keep dry to avoid rusting.
2. Edge protection
For garden tools with a cutting edge, special attention should be protected, when storage the tools, they should be oiled, the best to use wax paper to wrap, avoid overlapping and tilting, prevent compression bending deformation, for sharpening the edge portion should be a dedicated tool, ensure sharpening angle and prolong life.
3. Safekeeping
After the operation, when idle for extended periods, should be properly kept, clean and dry the tools, apply rust oil on the metal surface, place in the proper position, it should preferably be kept in deposit shelves that designed for different garden tools surface, to avoid multi-layer extrusion; placed in ventilated and dry place.
4. Attention to rust

Working parts of garden tools are mostly made of metal material, the metal material can easily rust, if rust, it will affect the use, and the rust is not easy to remove, so use should pay special attention to anti-rust treatment.
